VON Week is a particular time to recognize the critical work that VON nurses and staff do in Nova Scotia. The Nova Scotia Federation of Labour would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for all you do to support the health and well-being of our communities. VON nurses and staff provide essential care and support to individuals and families throughout Nova Scotia daily. From home care services to community nursing and beyond, your work touches countless lives and makes a real difference in our communities. You have faced unprecedented challenges and worked tirelessly to help keep our communities safe and healthy during COVID. We are in awe of your dedication and commitment to facing such adversity.

Despite your challenges, you have continued to provide exceptional care to those who need it most. Your hard work, compassion, and expertise have made a real difference in many people’s lives in Nova Scotia. As we celebrate VON Week, we want to let you know that your efforts are appreciated and valued. We thank you for your dedication to your work and commitment to making our communities stronger and healthier. Once again, thank you to all VON nurses and staff for your vital contributions to the health and well-being of our communities. We wish you all the best during VON Week and beyond.
