Our unions have been fighting for worker pension protection for a long time. Now Bill C-228 could protect workers’ and retirees’ pensions if their employer goes bankrupt. The bill has received support from MPs and critical senators. Now the Senate has a final opportunity to debate and vote on the bill.
We’re so close.
But big banks and wealthy CEOs don’t want the pension protection bill to pass. They’re lobbying hard to kill the bill, leaving workers’ pensions at risk.
We need more workers and others to sign on and send a letter to the Senate supporting pension protection today.
