What: Rally against Bill 100 When: Monday, April 27 Time: 4pm Where: Provincial Legislature
Halifax, NS – Students, Faculty, Staff and the Labour Movement are united against Bill 100 introduced on April 22. According to Rick Clarke (President of Nova Scotia Federation of Labour), “This Bill raises serious concerns for all of us, and will be legally challenged if not changed from its present form”.
On April 28, we gather with fellow workers, friends and family members to remember our brothers and sisters killed or injured on the job, and to re-commit to making our workplaces safer for everyone.
Halifax, NS – The Liberal’s austerity budget will hurt Nova Scotia’s economy and does nothing to create good jobs, says the Nova Scotia Federation of Labour (NSFL). The provincial budget contains cuts to public services, cuts to children’s dental care, changes to the Film Tax Credit, and increased user fees.
