Looking forward to 2026…

December 30, 2025

As we close out 2025, we reflect on a year with extraordinary challenges, but also incredible resolve and solidarity.

Throughout the year, we lobbied provincial and federal governments on so many issues, including:

-Affordable housing

-Stopping privatization

-Defending free collective bargaining

-Protecting job security

-Ending workplace violence

-Demanding a living wage

-Better childcare

-Anti-Scab legislation

-Human Rights

-Occupational Health and Safety

-Healthcare

-Expansion of postal services

We came together at our 2025 convention and debated resolutions and emerged with a clear vision for the next two years and beyond.

As we look to 2026, we know we have work ahead, but we also have our solidarity and determination.

We will continue to fight because we are strong together.

Thank you all for your support and hard work since convention and throughout 2025. I am proud to be president of the Federation as we face the challenges ahead.

Enjoy the holidays with your families and friends.

In solidarity and peace,

Melissa Marsman

President
