Keep the child care promise!

Please find below the final version of the joint letter to the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Forum of Ministers Most Responsible for Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC). It was sent to all Ministers who are members of the Forum this morning.  

Child Care Now will be promoting this letter publicly in advance of a press conference held January 30th in Ottawa. You are welcome to use the letter as you see fit, including publishing it on your website or circulating to your members.  

Thank you again for your participation in this joint advocacy endeavour. We continue to strongly encourage you to communicate directly by email or telephone with provincial/territorial Ministers responsible for child care in the days leading up to these meetings. It is essential that they hear from trusted voices like yours that the $10 a Day child care system must be strengthened and expanded.
