NSFL at Bridgewater Pride!

July 8, 2024

The Nova Scotia Federation of Labour (NSFL) Anti-Racism/Human Rights Committee and other unions made a powerful statement of solidarity by participating in the Bridgewater Pride parade. This involvement underscores our unions’ unwavering commitment to inclusivity and equality, celebrating the diversity within their ranks and the broader community.

By marching in the parade, they not only show support for LGBTQIA2S+ rights but also highlight the intersectionality of labour and social justice movements. Such participation strengthens the bonds between different advocacy groups, reinforcing that workers’ and human rights are deeply interconnected. This united front can lead to more robust efforts to create safer, more inclusive workplaces that benefit everyone.
